ABOUT KATE MADIGAN
At age 19, Kate spent a year where the Buddha became enlightened in Bodh Gaya, India; studying Tibetan Thangka painting with Buddhist monks. That year shaped the way she approaches art making. For Kate, painting is an act of prayer. She imagines her art art as portals for the gods to enter and believes that the energy she put into her creations is of the utmost importance.
